Welcome to my new blog! Let me introduce myself, my name is Sara Harvey and I am a graphic designer and illustrator currently living in the middle of the US with my dog, two cats and thousands of toys I've collected throughout my life (typing that out I realize that sounds a bit crazy... I'm okay with that) I'm an awkward huge geek who lives in my own little world. I worked for over 8 years as an artist for Hallmark Cards but now I'm pursuing a career as a freelance designer and illustrator. Everything that has happened throughout my life has given me the push I needed to follow some of my other passions and I'm very excited to share them with you. I've been around in internet land for over a decade sharing my toy collection, my home, and art but until now I never had all of that content in one place. I will be adding more info and my background here soon under the "about" section above.
So what's going to happen here? Well, hopefully I can inspire others. I'm very passionate about a lot of things. Art, fashion, toys, photography, whatever it is, I hope you can take something away with you that keeps your brain excited about something. If nothing else I hope I can make your day a little brighter.
Bear with me as I'm still working on parts of this blog but more info will be up soon. I'm in no way a writer so I apologize in advance for horrible spelling or bad grammar but hopefully I can distract you from that with pretty pictures. I've had different Tumblr sites for various things but this will be the first time I've really dived into the world of blogging. It's exciting but also scary to put yourself completely out there for the world to see. Although the majority of content will be related to art and design that inspires me, I will also be sharing more about myself and my personal life. Something very few people know much about. All of it has shaped who I am as a person and directly affects how I view the world and the amazing things that live in it.
